"Hell's a Poppin". When I was a very young boy I remember that my mother loved that movie series. I thought it was funny and now I understand better the meaning of the phrase. It was a Poppin' last week. I was suddenly off of the sofa (or would have been if we had one) and back to WORK! Ahhh, but it is work that I love so I was and am very happy to be going where I go and doing what I do.
Monday and Wednesday mornings are spent with about 70 eager beavers in Mito. I teach 2 hour and a half long classes after a 40 minute drive on a very pleasant expressway. I get home in plenty of time to hand the car over to Mako if she needs it for her work. On Tuesday I take the beautiful TX into Akihabara and then either walk or ride another stop to Ochanomizu. There I teach 4 classes of about 33 students each in 50 minute classes. I'm off on Thursday and on Friday afternoon I drive to Tsuchiura, where I have 2 hour and a half long classes. I'm a happy man!
Mito and Tsuchiura will continue through the year and Ochanomizu is a half year course. About the time Ochanomizu breaks I'll be collecting Social Security! Who could ask for more?
