I LOVE spiders, always have. In Japan they make summer - Summer. There are billions and billions of them everywhere but those whom I love the best live in my zone. We share. When living in Azuma I had a family of spiders that regenerated in my furo-beya for 8 years! That was about as close to "skinship" as I came to it in Japan before I met Mako.
Today I had the opportunity to welcome the first spiders of the year in my genkan. They, like all the others before them, will be Hinkey and Dinkey - and they are beautiful!
